I mean, free stuff. I wouldn't complain.

I don't think you need to be worried at all as long as you pointed out to her that you thought there was a possible scanning error. Ultimately if management detect an issue, she will be the one in trouble. It would be completely different if you were going through a self-serve checkout. We have issues here with a lot of people not scanning certain items. But in your case, it comes down to the person on the check-out. Like someone else said though, she probably won't last long in the job.

@SW-User thank you

What you could have done, if you had time, was go out of the store and compare your receipt to the contents of your bags. If there were a LOT of discrepancies, not just one, you could ask to see the manager and explain what had happened. You don't want a store that is convenient to you to go out of business.

maybe she just didn't feel like she gets paid enough to care lol

Lol - you cared more than her 😂

She will be fired after a few nights like that. Does she not have a camera above her head?
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@Mondayschild I don't know, but I did ask about it twice. her response was "don't worry about it". I have decided to pay someones groceries next time I go to the store. Wasn't trying to get her fired
