What would you do if the grocery store associate wasn't properly scanning all of your items?

I noticed that I wasn't hearing the beep after she scanned every item so I asked her are you sure those scanned? And she said oh don't worry about it...

So that made me think that maybe the register was just slow and that it was delaying the sound of the beep. But then I got my total and I was like🤔😮

I don't think you need to be worried at all as long as you pointed out to her that you thought there was a possible scanning error. Ultimately if management detect an issue, she will be the one in trouble. It would be completely different if you were going through a self-serve checkout. We have issues here with a lot of people not scanning certain items. But in your case, it comes down to the person on the check-out. Like someone else said though, she probably won't last long in the job.
