Who makes the best deep dish pizza’s in the Chicago area?

SW-User Best Comment
Depends on what you desire.

Giordano's is plentiful and huge, it's the kind you starve yourself 24 hrs prior.

Lou Malnati's ( not "Illuminati's") buttercrust is to die for, and it is not as heavy as Giordano's, but immensely tasty.

Pequod's is like Lou's, except they carmelize cheese on the edge of the crust, and wow, does it make your tastebuds sing.

Gino's East is good, like a Lou's but for some reason it's not memorable.

Uno's/ Due's are in the same vein as Giordano's.

@SW-User Hard to go wrong with those choices, but I'll go with Malnati's. The crust is unique even among its competitors.

@anythingoes477 Thanks! I’m going to have to try more than one now.
@FattyMcFatts Uno's is the actual inventors of the deep dish chicago pie. go to the original location--and go before 5 or else there is a line that is half a block long. Not kidding. Ask a cabbie to take you there...original location.

@FattyMcFatts You won't be sorry. I was soooo unhappy when it closed down in my area. Their deep dish is out of this world.
