beef if it's freshwater.

It's a close contest between beef and pork, but I think pork takes the crown after a nice long smoke. Few things can beat the sumptuous delight of a slow smoked fatty piece of pork, cooked low and slow so that all that fat liquefies and bastes it and the whole thing shreds apart at the slightest touch. The good shit. 👌

@UndeadPrivateer I'm on a pork kick right now, too. 😅
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@Peaceful I'm avoiding eating it at the moment, though I recently cheated with a pork loin(I don't think it really breaks the diet too badly, it's a low fat cut. 👀 ), but it really is absolutely decadent when slow smoked. Beef can be damn fine too but I think the pork flavors are far more complementary to smoke.

@UndeadPrivateer I agree. I broke down and bought pasture raised, organic bacon with no nitrates that was smoked and it is the best bacon I've ever eaten in my life.

How can I choose one.
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
Beef is my flavor choice but chicken is my better for the environment choice...
