I had boneless white fish, coated in a mixture of lemon, flour, red and black pepper spices, salt. Fried in butter and oil.

@Miram You were doing so good until said "butter." Blehhhhh, butter on anything is horrible.

@BlueMetalChick I put butter on the fish every time I turn the side so it gets crispy. So A LOT of butter.

@Miram Ugh, that would utterly ruin it. Fried fish is wonderful but butter destroys everything it touches. I would highly recommend you try using safflower oil, it makes the breading crunchy and thick and it doesn't taste of rank lard.
