You buy stock in a company for a price and if that stock loses value you lose money if it gains value you make interest aka money from the initial investment and the word stock market is actually 3 different exchanges like the word congress being 3 different branches the senate house and potus

My job everyday is the stock market finance TV is bout trends aka whats happened in the past and whats prob gona happen in the future cuz of world issues or company problems likeee twitter stock dropping cuz elons stupid then at the bottom it shows diff symbols like TSLA is tesla or DIS is disney and those abbreviations are called tickers
