just wondered about something that happened to me last summer

I got scammed last summer, someone sent me an email about a phone coming I never ordered, when I called to ask them to cancel it they switched me over to someone that said he was a private detector, he said he was going to test Wells Fargo and was going to put $18,000 in my bank acct and wanted me to take it out and send it to him by Bitcoin, like an idiot I believed him, the bit coin machine never worked, I think someone upstairs was protecting me, couldn't get the gift cards he wanted, he had told me not to check my bank acct but I did anyways and found out he was using my money instead, he never got a penny. I moved almost 2 months ago and I'm applying for Medicaid again cause of the move, they got my bank statements and were asking about the money I had just deposited it back in the bank before I moved, the $18,000, they were wondering about the big deposit, I wrote back to them and told them the truth of what happened, and why the deposits were bigger and that I had gotten extra money from stimulus, so I answered their questions, I did report that guy and blocked his number too. wondered why Medicaid was asking me about it and if I'm going to get in trouble for being the victim of a scammer, I was stupid enough to believe him, it was my money I put back in my acct, so I didn't steal anything, someone said they're probably wondering if I'm going to get bigger amts deposited again before they decide to put me on Medicaid, any ideas?

God bless you 🙏 I'm glad you didn't lose any money over this. Did you have to close your bank account and open a new one just to be safe?
