RBA raises interest rate again by half a percent
This was done on the 6th September.
I checked my bank to see if they were going to raise depositors rates.
The message was - We are reviewing our position in relation to the RBA's official cash rate announcement on Tuesday 6 September, 2022. We will make a further announcement on this soon.
I sent them a message
It would be nice if you would pass on the full 50 basis points to your depositors this time.
Show that your care for and value your depositors.
I am sure they will pass on less than 20 basis points again which will simply reinforce my perception that they care not for depositors.
But they always pass on the full amount to mortgage holders.
