@saragoodtimes I look at the scholarships at some schools now because of the amazing philanthropy at some. I know we disagree a lot about this, but health care should really be consider the right of all, the cost of education into the field paid for by the general funds, aka government, and the incomes should still be sizeable, but perhaps scaled more fairly.

@samueltyler2 eventually it will come to that, gov't will realize there is a shortage of doctors and provide programs to get students into med programs where they come out not so heavily in debt

@saragoodtimes There is already a severe shortage. Unfortunately, it seems that there is more interest in introducing lower cost PA/NP instead of encouraging more physicians.

I just got over a severe dermatitis. I was reassured by some of my friends/colleagues that they fit me in as an emergency, when have you ever heard of a dermatologist having an emergency patient. I had a peculiar pattern of dermatitis, it probably is a good teaching case. As a former academic physician, i realized i should record the progress so i took sequential images. They are medical images, if you understand. I am sure Alan would be intrigued by them. If he is interested, i do have a PowerPoint presentation, but we will need to figure out how to get it to him confidentially, without exposing my identity. If interested we can discuss in PM.
