They are buggers. Taken so much money from the public purse in the past twenty years, but can't be bothered to provide a pretty basic service. Leaves big gaps in the high street and creates the appearance of decline and neglect.

i think most people already do banking online .... direct deposit of paychecks .... deposits thru phone app etc ....

hasnt it hit them already ... & they are adjusting to the times
i dont pay with credit card to mechanic because he adds 3% to the bill if you pay with credit card (which i think is outrageous ... dont accept credit cards)

many are closing because the CEOs/CFOs etc fucked up .... they get tooooooo large a paycheck & make horrible decisions & want another round of bailouts

i say let them ( & other business fail & start over) fail as we need to do business diferently as we the people are the ones paying the price for business as usual

i cant remember the last time i actually used cash ... rarely carry any
