Do I/you need a will?

I have no dependents.
My estate? under $200,000.
So to distribute my estate I would need a will lest the Government gets the money.
Is your will in place and up to date?

No, I do not have a legally binding will in place. Although my only dependents are my cat and dog, that I do not yet have a will is only because of indecision about who or what entity to make the beneficiary.
I think everyone needs a will, including me. Certainly in my state, the state will get everything I own if I die before I have one.
