Fellas of SW, how often do you think about having to physically fight someone?

Last month I had to kick out a homeless guy skulking around my driveway, tense words were exchanged, and almost every day since then I've been anticipating having him come back to try his luck again.

I'm well armed and have a dog that would gladly rip apart my enemies, but I just don't want to deal with the legal consequences of a system that seems to disproportionately protect the criminals. There is the concept of using "reasonable force" to remove or restrain somebody, and since learning of that I've been imagining the different ways I could handle him should he return.

Seems unhealthy to obsess over it, but I also feel like it kinda goes with the territory of being a guy. Seems like you always gotta be ready to put a threat down before it can hurt those that can't protect themselves as well
