Do you have a favorite fictional character that you identify with, and if so, what can you tell us about them and how do you resemble them?

Good question… hmmm, as you can tell from my profile picture, it’s a miniature ninja. I have always liked ninjas, going as far back as when I was around 5 years old. I love the black outfit, silent assassin kind of characters, like Snake-eyes from GI Joe and Black Noir from The Boys show.

The guy in my picture is a ninja named Shadow from an RPG game called Final Fantasy Vi. He was in a train robbing duo that abandoned his dying partner after a botched robbery. He started a new life in a town, found a lover and had a child. He felt guilt and had nightmares of his past that were haunting him, so he left his new life behind and got a new identity as a ninja that called himself Shadow. He became a loner, but his assassination skills landed him jobs as a mercenary. He went on to help the main character fight evil and save the world in the game. :)

I have some similarities to Shadow. I have a past that haunted me that I wanted to leave all behind me. I love martial arts, knives, and all things metal, including throwing knives and ninja stars. Also, I like being a loner because I learned that people tend to let me down, so it’s better to work alone and not rely on anyone. Yeah, troubled past, fascination with all things sharp, and a loner.

Btw, nice Raziel pictures. Those Soul Reaver games were great.
@Dethmoore Shadow sounds like an interesting character. Gonna look into his story.
I'm sorry to hear that you have a past that still haunts you, but as long as you're willing to fight there is no way than forward, step by step you will get further from that past.
As for the people thing, I agree, people tend to let you down 99% of the time. As for Soul Reaver, you're right, the games were amazing.

@AdielTandri you’re right, thanks. I’m still trying to turn my life around and leave all that behind. 🙂

Appreciate your words 👍

It would be K that Kafka used in two Novels, The Castle and The Trial.
He is an existential character caught in absurdities!
