Most men do not expect you to be perfect, and base much of their attraction of you on personality as much as your body.
Even being not too participatory isn't necessarily a bad thing.
I would suggest that you all meet up with this other couple non-sexually and see how you all get along. You might take one look at them and say no way. Or you might get along so well that your anxiety will be relieved.
Whatever you do, don't go into this just because your boyfriend wants to do it for him. Only do it because you want to do it for yourself.
