My brother did and he said it hurt way more than actually getting the tat in the first place.

The woman who ran the open studio i attended told me it was both painful and expensive.

I had laser removal and didn't find it too bad..I do have a pretty good tolerance to pain to be fair.

My sister has had some removed. She said it hurt then getting the tattoo itself. She almost didn't notice it. She described it as light hair pulling and tugging feeling with a little bit of warming to it.

She said it was nothing to it, but it was very expensive

I’ve only covered up a tattoo with another tat. But it seems the general consensus is that tattoo removal pain hurts more than getting a tattoo, comparable to a sharp burning pain feeling. However, it’s also highly subjective, as everyone tolerance to pain is different. If you’re worried about tattoo removal being real painful, it might be better to just get it covered up. If you find a good artist, they can make it like the old tattoo was never there.

I was never stupid enough to get one in the first place.

I’ve never had one, I don’t do well with pain 😬

@AnnaBanana00 I cried like a baby years ago and now I want one of them gone from my chest but I’ll cry again 🥹
I’ve never had any, don’t think I ever will.
