why are nike trainers made so cheap yet sold at dear prices

Because fools will keep buying them. Companies can only do this because everyday people enable them

Because people buy them at whatever price is stuck on them.

People are often not overly bright.

I hate to say it, but famous athletes like Michael Jordan and brand identity. Every pair of Nike I have ever owned fell apart and they did not require much wear at all to do so. They remain in style though and people love them. The only other sneaker I refuse to wear is Reebok for similar reasons.

Because it makes more money for Nike than making shoes that last.
