I had my nipple piercing done about ten years ago but the girl who did the piercing made it too shallow and it nearly worked itself out

If I hadn’t removed it, it would have split my nipple !! So I took it out and let it heal closed ..

I recently found the piercing and I want to put it back in, this time I’m going to do it myself with a piercing kit I just ordered from Amazon..

Should I go ahead and pierce the original nipple but deeper or do you think I should pierce the other nipple?? ( I only pierced one)
