Do you struggle with......

Body image issues....type?

My parents are tall. Pop 6'5"...my momma's 5'9".

My sister and I 6' even.

In part, the gender influenced nature of development; I was a fully developed 6' tall woman in the sixth grade.

A package for a 13 year old mindset to carry.

Folding myself in a desk ...in the back of a classroom.

Add to that wreckage the fact that ... oftentimes beside me ..is my exact double.

A societal circus attraction. Rarely would we mingle in the same space.

Becoming more an more comfortable in my skin ..baby steps...

If only I could rock high heels other than Halloween.

Much the same for me, except no obvious trait in my immediate family. But looking through ancient photos there it was, two generations back on my dad's side - a brother & sister who towered over everyone else gathered in front of a one room school house.

Genetically it's refered to as "regression toward the mean". Nice. I thought about being regressive, and mean ... but decided on crazy instead. Sex & dating were a blur. Boys were confused and girls were curious, so I chased everyone & caught too many too soon. School wrecked me, basketball saved me, and my family loved me through it all.

Mostly.

But I digress. The point is, wear those heels. Live large. Stay high. Be well ✌

@GuiltyBiStander Damn... Definitely "high" ....er more than lower on average. 😏

Well said....

And trust me...I feel ya.

I'm happy you found a solution on a court.

May I hope your wishes for me...reflect back upon you.
