Woo, The Wind is Horrible. Went Shopping & It Was A Struggle To Load The Groceries In My Car…

Had to keep one hand on the shopping cart at all times…looked like a few carts were runaways. Got a little south of Sam’s Club and firetrucks & Police blocking a side road, 4 electric poles blown over. A few small tree branches down, trash pickup today and most of the carts had blown over. At least a couple dozen wildfires too, some homes burnt. And the lights keep going on and off.

We had lots of wind last Friday here. My car door blew back into my leg and bruised it nicely when a 50-60 mph gust got it.

@Ravens80 Ouch! I was trying to put the groceries and other things in the back of the CRV and had to hold onto the shopping cart to make sure it didn’t get blown back into oncoming cars. Ended up tossing the toilet paper and some other things over into the back seat rather than opening up the back door and doing it…trash blowing all around on the roads and ditches, and other things. At least we didn’t get a tornado like Little Rock did. Need to check up on that. Imagine it did huge damages besides injuries.

@FurryFace It’s over now. Still a bit windy but not ferocious like yesterday, they said on the weather report this morning the gusts were up to 67 mph, which is close to hurricane strength wind.
