Do you ever wonder if mirrors in malls' dressing rooms have filters?

Does anyone know the answer?

Just as long as they don't laugh derisively.

Not where I live, haha. I guess some have already learned the art of lighting but I remember how I used to feel especially ugly and fat when trying on new clothes as a teenager. Those places were merciless. 😅

@CrazyMusicLover Oh. That's sad.

But admittedly, even me haha. Though sometimes, it's not the clothes. Sometimes not eating what you like is tough so weight gain is a challenge.

What kind of filter it can have?
Casheyane · F
@ABCDEF7 I don't know, I guess the ones in our malls sort of make you look beautiful so you'd be more inclined to buy the clothes you try on.

@Casheyane I guess, @Lilnonames's reply explains it well.

the perfect storm of conditions.

When you go out to buy new clothes you are normally showered, teeth brushed, hair combed and ready to go out in public. So already a person looks better than looking in the mirror first thing in the morning.
Usually a person feels good buying new clothes and rarely will go out if feeling, sick, down or tired.
The reflection of you in the mirror contains fresh new clothes that you have likely not seen on yourself before or for a while.
The inside of a changing booth is in a neutral Grey so as not to interfere with any colours.
Mirrors sometimes have lighting along the sides or top which sends a flattering soft light on the face.
Everything works together

@Lilnonames Nice.
