No big deal. Its no different than when Michael Jordan entered the league and was treated the same.
Look where it got him. She doesnt have any titles at all like Angel Reese,
But perhaps she will someday soon. Its just entertainment, and nothing more.

Options ? Well, I'd like her to endorse my new performance energy drink -
But ...maybe not an option.
I do have an opinion though, and it's based on my own experience playing college-level hoops :
Caitlin is the real deal, and a complete package of scoring, passing, free throw & assist skills. She's an impact player - for Indiana & for WNBA as a whole. The league knows that, and she knows it. She's improving her ability with every game & making smart career choices for long term.
But is she the only impact player in the league? Certainly not. What we're seeing now with all the talk about Caitlin being targeted for bullying & hate - or being spoiled & put on a pedestal, is typical sportshype and obscures the most important point : Quietly and gradually, NCAA & WNBA players & coaches have improved their game, and are now producing female athletes that are outstanding by any measure. I can think of at least 6 other women who are at or near Caitlin's skill level, and will emerge as legit rivals. What still lags is league management savvy, and absolutely terrible officiating.
Meantime, don't fret about Caitlin getting roughed up by the mean girl crew. She's tough & will survive, and Sophie & the rest of her team will deal with the outlaws.

@GuiltyBiStander If we were on Broke Sharks I'd offer you....50$ and free field tests...for... 30% off a case once production begins.
Cool that you played in college. Definitely knowledgeable about the game. I never wanted one till I read about her.
She publicly offered that if Sophie Cunningham is suspended from the league, she'll quit.
You know their not gonna let that happen.

@Punxi
Invest NOW sistah !! 😆
And yes to the rest too.
The women's game (including hockey & soccer) has always been a marker for equal opportunity at pro level. But now it's actually worth watching just for the quality of play.
We were always good. Now we're better 👍

I've seen her a few times in clips, because like most people I don't watch the WNBA, but I dont watch the NBA either.. She should stick it out , get some more endorsement deals until she's financially set for life, then leave. If she has passion for the game maybe find a league in Europe whose players will appreciate her.
Punxi · F
@FreeSpirit1 I never watched a single game...out side of highschool...and I certainly wasn't there for that.
She's definitely going to be rich.
She's definitely going to be rich.

She adds a ton of value to the league, a great player, seems humble! Look at the amount of revenue they lost when she was out with a injury!!
Goodluckwiththat · 61-69, M
Sophie Cunningham went beast mode on the girl who poked her in the eye! They have a great team, fun to watch, lots of talent!
Goodluckwiththat · 61-69, M
@Punxi I read that! Her popularity skyrocketed after that! It was the best $400 she spent!
Punxi · F
@Goodluckwiththat Hell yeah!! Publicly yet simply speaking out of here core beliefs concerning the game and it's backlash on Clark has made her an Internet sensation.👍
Lilyb · 22-25, F
@Goodluckwiththat I thought she was going to go full Dave Semenko on her!! Lol!
(No one probably knows who he is...lol)

She brought more positive attention to the WNBA than it has ever had. Sad to see how that has been received and how she is being treated.
Punxi · F
@BrandNewMan I agree. Not even on the sly.... blatant fouls... every one sees... except refs. 🤷
Degbeme · 70-79, M
She is absolutely amazing basketball player. Those that trash her don`t realize what she is doing for the league.
Livingwell · 61-69, M
She's amazing! Such a talent.
Punxi · F
@Livingwell Absolutely. Only time in my life I'm I've become a fan.
JackHoff · 46-50, M
She makes the league better and that will benefit the other players. Being jelly is ugly and all fun and games until she really gets hurt.
Ferric67 · M
My coworker looks like Caitlin
MayorOfCrushtown · M
She is making bank with all those endorsement deals. Another reason the vast majority of the other players hate her. Well....... and the fact that they hate gettin schooled by a white girl. LOL
Same thing happened in reverse with Tiger Woods in golf back in the 90s.

@MayorOfCrushtown Nice.....
You know I was thinking of him too. If I could see....15...20 years in the future of the WNBA.
Tiger Woods took the course and blew their minds...but down the road, many other young phenomenal players emerged in his wake.
I believe Clark will spawn the same.

I consider the source.
Look at the hate for Taylor Swift.

Caitlyn Clark
GOAT potential
bullied
it's disgusting and the league should punish them
Why don't Caitlin Clarks teammates defend her?!
If it was Jokic, Antetokounmpo or Doncic their teammates would jump in and protect their teammate
Do Caitlin Clarks teammates hate her or something? Why doesn't the team care about their franchise player?
