nails? what do you do?

I recently stopped chewing my nails and they're growing back!!!! They're sharper than ever, and it kindof feel's a little funny, but at least they don't hurt and bleed like when I always chewed them, and they look half decent! And I can actually scratch an itch!!! I've only once had my nails done professionally 26 years ago almost to the day as today is our 26 year wedding anniversary and I had them done for our wedding! French white tips with blue and silver little gems! The other day I got to choose out of my daughters massive nail polish collection for a nail polish that I could wear, and I chose a light eurodescent purpleish color I liked best! I hope they grow long, I hope I never go back to chewing my nails again! I hope quitting smoking is just as easy as quitting chewing my nails!!!

I trim my nails with the scissors on my Swiss Army knife.

My other half is decent at painting. Try getting him involved in with you at home. (Then you don't have to worry about messing up with the non dominant hand 😊) plus gives them a chance to learn about the things you like and time to talk and bond.

Hey it works for us

I had biab for 6 months and now it's my natural nail with gel on top. My nail tech is great. She spends approx an hour, sometimes more, cleaning, taking off polish etc... and preparing them, and then the rest adding colour/design.

We talk a lot so we go slow.

I gave up with them. They kept peeling off and so expensive. Now just back to old fashion nail polish if I fancy it.

I don't go to nail salons, it's just too pricey. I paint my own nails every couple months maybe.

I tried acrylic nails once. Thought it would be perfect for playing the guitar but they kept falling off and one of them started going black underneath. Not worth it.

FWIW and perhaps it means nothing to you but I’ve never, as in NEVER ever heard a man say anything positive about a woman’s nails. Nothing. Ive heard expressions of disgust about nails that are too long but fancy nails never register with men, at least heterosexual men.

Cut them short when they become uneaven. My foot, ummmm feet, never. Because i dont have a nailcuter hha
