For me I can’t wear like Goodwill if I’m wearing all Salvation Army. But then I don’t mind mixing more expensive brands like Walmart and Target. 🤷🏻‍♀

@OlderSometimesWiser Don't mock target too hard. For men, the Goodfellow brand is actually solid quality for the price! I feel like Walmart is downscale to goodwill though 🤣

I wear $10 shirts so they don't even have brands

I try not to buy brands
They are overpriced
bikelover · 56-60, M
You always look really cool 😉
ReneeT · 61-69, F
I'm not too worried about matching brands. As long as the colours match, it's ok for me
GeminiRain · M
Clothes are clothes to me, as long as they fit I will wear them
For me all 6 are usually different brands
Honestly... I am my brand.

I'd rather wear something I've altered myself at home before I walk about with a big Adidas logo emblazed across my chest.

i have no special regard for brands
EldritchFox · 41-45, F
I don't give a fuck. My clothes are not that important to me. Nor are brands.
Ferric67 · M
@EldritchFox me neither
I don't care about brands.
My first consideration, is that my clothes are comfortable.
I don't want clashing colors, though.
Sapio · 51-55, M
I don't shop brand names anymore, but yes, when I did, they had to match.
I’m not really wedded to brands, especially not designer labels. If the clothes are well-constructed, durable (and I do prefer natural fibers) I’m happy.
@bijouxbroussard But I’m sure you couldn’t pass these up!

@OlderSometimesWiser Birkenstocks should never be sold used—they take the shape of the original wearer’s feet, by design.

And yet I see them on EBay.
Gusman · 61-69, M
I never buy or wear clothing with visible branding.
I do try to colour coordinate.
i dont give a bleep clothes are clothes hell i shop at walmart bite me
swirlie · 31-35, F
I always try to wear matching shoes together, which means I always try to avoid wearing a Nike shoe on one foot with an Adidas shoe on the other foot.
anoderod55 · 70-79, M
I would like to be able to have that problem 🦕

I can understand not wanting to mix name brands . I probably would not have noticed that . ✨
ViciDraco · 41-45, M
If I can tell what the brand name is, I'm probably not buying it. I'm not paying that much to advertise their corporate logo. If I'm spending big money on clothes I'm going to get quiet quality.
Mindful · 56-60, F
I can't afford brands unless Walmart and Ross count. Occasionally it's whatever I like at Salvation Army. I hope that doesn't make you cringe.
@Mindful It makes me smile.
It is hard for me to express clearly how little it matters to me.

The purpose of brands is to make sure other people know how much you pay for clothes. What determines that price is how much you are willing to pay.

To me it is just as significant as wearing a shirt with a photo on it of you looking joyful while tossing $100 bills into the wind.

It’s just another way of advertising the wearer’s price point.

And a clever way of charging you exorbitant prices while making you advertise for the brand.

I solved the quandary... if it has a brand label all over it, I don't buy it.
