@Jokersswild okay, just be cognizant in the future that using words can harmful.

@samueltyler2 thank you! 🕊
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@AngelUnforgiven you are welcome, i just have empathy for people and their problems.
Ravens80 · 46-50, F
Absolutely!!! I’m plus size but tall so that throws a twist in things. Clothing always looks different on models than when I try it on or order it and get it delivered.
Ravens80 · 46-50, F
@samueltyler2 I was larger at one time. I’ve lost a good amount of weight in the past few years.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Ravens80 so that is what accounts for the difference? everyone needs to be comfortable in their own skin, i hope you are.
Ravens80 · 46-50, F
@samueltyler2 yes it is and I’m definitely feeling better now that I’m a few pounds lighter!
itsok · 31-35, F
Body shape and height can make so much of a difference. I’ve tried to look up outfit ideas for my size, and it’s not helpful.
AngelUnforgiven · 51-55, F
@itsok thanks! i'm glad that i'm not the only one who goes through this.

I often have to have even brand new jeans altered. They don't make them that fit properly. My waist is way smaller than my hips. I get one to fit the other won't. 🤷
AngelUnforgiven · 51-55, F
@Punxi exactly! They dont recognize the struggle.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
I have never understood why women's sizes are done that way, unlike using waist, length, as in men's. Similarly the bra sizes are bizarre, what does a cup really mean? They can be measure as a volume.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@AngelUnforgiven that is interesting, i have never seen that, but yes, when i try on a bathing suit, it is on my skin.

@MarmeeMarch it might be to the woman!
Harmonium1923 · 51-55, M
That fact that there is a size zero, and apparently a size even smaller than that, is a good example of what’s wrong with women’s close sizes. I also remember seeing a “Petite XL” and not having any idea what that could mean.
Lilymoon · F
I sometimes shop in the girls department because the adult pants are either too long or too big lol
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Lilymoon i was used to your prior image.
emmasfriend · 46-50, F
@Lilymoon Buying from the children's department saves VAT in the UK
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@emmasfriend that is fascinating. In NJ we pay no tax on any clothing under $1k
Jenny1234 · 56-60, F
Not accurate I think the sizes in the chart are marked 2 sizes too small.

@samueltyler2 I don’t know tbh
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Jenny1234 i have heard that. I don't remember where.
Bklynbadboy12 · 36-40, M
Thats true and they have to do women sizes like that cause women come in alot of different shapes and sizes
AngelUnforgiven · 51-55, F
@Bklynbadboy12 exactly they dont think about the fact that we have size 14 bodies with size 16 asses 🤣🤣🤣
Bklynbadboy12 · 36-40, M
@AngelUnforgiven True where if you buy a size 14 you cant get them past your hips and if you buy the size 16 its to big in the waist 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
emmasfriend · 46-50, F
Some of the websites have a size comparison chart.
My sizes have different numbers in US, UK and France

Body shape had a lot to do with it too. Height. Posture.
