You never know you might just be forty years ahead of fashion.
I remember that people thought it strange to see me wearing headphones in public. Now it's quite ordinary, but in the early '70s, long before Akio Morita asked his engineers to design the Walkman I was probably the only person in town doing it.

@ekwalizur According to Woman's Hour (BBC Radio 4) last week they are making a comeback already.

@Iwillwait Start doing it and set the trend!

@ninalanyon Was a normal thing to do, if you're flying you would dress up "Professional, " not PJ's socks n sandals.

@Iwillwait I've never dressed professional! Last time I wore a suit was at the age of sixteen, fifty two years ago. But I wore comfortable respectable clothes to fly. Never pyjamas, and while I did sometimes wear sandals I never wore socks with them!

These days I put some effort into dressing, not professional though :-)

I'm lucky enough to live in a place where people do put a little effort into what they wear, every day and not just for special occasions.
