Supposed to be in the 90s for at least a week here. In past years we've experienced 104 and hotter when vacationing out West. ☃️sending chilly thoughts.

@Poppies Today is cooler for me, though it doesn't feel it. Our friends in the EU are still having a rough time of it, too.

We all need a break because our homes are designed to keep heat in through our cold winters rather than letting heat out to keep us cool in heatwaves. Most of us don't have AC... and, even ceiling fans can be tricky to have, too. Some places won't allow you to have a ceiling fan within a certain proximity to your boiler - even if the boiler is in a different room or closet.

Personally speaking, I can't even have my windows open in the cooler hours of the day because the friends of my neighbour will come round and climb in through my windows - and these people are addicts (alcohol and drugs).

I consider myself lucky, though... I could be among the people in the next county over who had their houses burn down yesterday...

@Chrisy3 I'm in eastern US and we are coming into fall now. So the temperature has been bouncing up and down. Just like you it is probably hard to figure out what to wear daily

@ReneeT when it’s been warm and is cooling down, I quite often wear things for hotter days, get outside and wonder why the hell im freezing!! 😬

@Chrisy3 I've been know to steep outside with a pair of shorts on and wonder why I am so cold. Going out for a run helps but it is still bloomin' cold😮
