Ever get tired of music?

Like it's background noise? Stuff you've heard countless times too much?
But what else is there to quell your restless mind?
PerfectionOfTheHeart · 46-50, F
Nah. There’s too many songs I can still feel the effects of day one from no matter how many times I’ve heard them, and that kind of magic is appreciated when I get into a yucky mind loop I can’t break free from.

That last bit. Turning all man made noise off and being in the presence of nature’s soundtrack helps tremendously with that.

Meditation works a lot better than listening to someone whine about their love life so you will give them money.

@hunkalove Uh huh. I was a sucker once, myself.

Only if it’s a song I’ve heard too many times. But for music in general, I never tire of it.

@Ducky I wish I had your stick-to-it'veness. I tire of everything too soon, too often.
Nope. Always looking for something that challenges my ears.

@BlueSkyKing Interesting choice of words - challenging. Always, as well.
@SW-User I hear a lot of crap at the job that make me wonder who would spend money for this.

New age as background. Maybe the sound of rain on YouTube or calm

Isn't this in the the worng Group?

I do not tire of music I like and by choice - and this is of huge variety.

I tire of enforced, needless music - as in shops and motorway service areas, call-centre hold music, over-loud from houses and cars, behind and sometimes intruding on the speech in documentary-type radio or TV programmes.

Yes music has been is and will be forced on me all of my days. I am very selective what I will listen to. Most new music nowadays is unlistenable and most older music I am tired of sick of. But that's okay it gets forced on us everywhere whether we like it or not.
