@SomeMichGuy Violin music is haunting & thought provoking & beautiful I think
@Tumbleweed Indeed it can be! When played well and on a fine instrument, it is particularly so! (He has a Stradivarius from 1714:

@SomeMichGuy Have you heard someone play a Theremin? I'm fascinated by them!!
@Tumbleweed Yes. I've also used one; they used to have one at Disneyworld in the MGM Studios theme park--now Disney's Hollywood Studios--and asked you to try to come up with a sound to represent the landing of an extraterrestrial space ship from a b&w clip from an old sci-fi movie.

It was interesting to play with, and I got a very satisfactory result after a few tries and a bit of experimentation.

@SomeMichGuy Very cool!! I was searching for a particulr melody on youtube a few years ago and come to find out, that's what the woman was playing! I've been fascinated ever since! It was actually from an episode of American Horror Story.
@Tumbleweed Interesting!

It is def. a very particular sound!

@SomeMichGuy It's magical!!
@Tumbleweed Not surprising to find it in a horror show or sci-fi flick, huh?
