@OlderSometimesWiser Yes. I remember someone accused me of lying and blocked me when I posted that it was on our local news (he lived in the Bay Area). Later the poster unblocked me and apologized. I told her I would’ve loved to have been wrong. 😞
@bijouxbroussard I think it was the immense joy he brought others versus how much he must have been suffering in silence that touched me the most. Still does.

@OlderSometimesWiser That saddened me, as well 🥺
@OlderSometimesWiser I definitely didn't see that coming either, last person I would've expected, but also not the first time I've heard of comedians actually being quite clinically depressed

@OlderSometimesWiser I second this answer.

@OlderSometimesWiser I saw RW in this play - and he was so very different from the comedian we all knew - I even had dreams about it...he took his life a short 3 years later

@fun4us2b That’s really something. Think I related to his Good Will Hunting role the most, that underlying sadness just beneath the surface. But maybe that’s because he’s gone now and we know just a bit more about what he was facing.

@OlderSometimesWiser Very true.
