In passing? One of my bestie's sister met some of the guys in Def Leppard, before they were famous. She had also met one Ozzy Osbourne, back in his wild drinking days.
The Leppard guys had just started the band and were talking to her, out in the street, and she stole some of their chips (fries to all you Americans!), and they were really nice.
She said Ozzy was completely trolleyed but 'nice enough'.
Me? One Roy Wood (he of The Move, the original ELO and later, of his band Wizzard) lives nearby and we have chatted whilst shopping. Lovely man.
