Have you known anyone who met someone famous?

I worked with a guy who was once in the same room with Hitler. My co-worker said he had the most mesmerizing eyes and captivating presence of anyone he could remember.

My family met a couple of "beach boys" camping at Dana point at Doheny Beach, sat next to Steve Martin at restaurant with him and his parents and met George Brett and Bob Rodgers(baseball players). Met a few playboy bunnies while visiting a seamstress friend who was making them lingerie. Met john waynes wife pia and michael jacksons's seamster and the set designer for battlestar galactica.

Blue Jays broadcaster Buck Martinez played with George Brett - he could talk for hours about that guy.

Sounds like you're in show biz, too?

@rinkydinkydoink no, i was the manager of a million dollar fabric store in southern calif. There were a few others that i met also. They filmed a episode of "chips" in my parking lot also and i indirectly met a few others as i provided materials for some of their sets. Some of Bette Midler costumes were made from my materials. Just in the right place at the right time. Teddy Ruspin was invented in my store as his materials were purchased in my store. We discussed the entire project. He trusted me not to reveal his secrets. There were a lot of contacts over the 30 years. Too many to remember. When I was younger, I met Tony Hawk and sold him my retired fiber glass skateboard. He had a collection he was building. He was a neighbor briefly.
