@pdockal Surely it makes more sense to use the same word that we would use if "the people" wasn't there. In other words, where I come from we say "they have to be the right choice for us, the people", not "they have to be the right choice for we the people". Does that make sense to you yet?

@Spoiledbrat "We, the people, insist on correct grammar" makes perfect sense. Note particularly the comma between "We" and "the people".

"The right choice for we, the people" is wrong because we don't say "for we". It's all about context.
