No. I’m am a literate human being who can read and understand the effects of pressure on vehicles. I was alive when the Thresher went down and followed the analysis with great interest. No one aboard the Thresher drowned either; they were crushed before they had a chance to drown.
The best submarines in the world are built a few miles from me and I learned to weld from a submarine welder whose work tolerances are ten times more demanding than NASA standards.
