@akindheart I have read several articles that said the sub was poorly engineered and even more poorly tested. It should have had NDT radioactive testing done on both the structure and the welds. The company decided to use ultrasound instead. I have no idea if the reports are accurate or not but if they are true then it is a good thing the CEO of the company was aboard. He would have owed billions in liability.
