That's so sad. I had hoped when they found it, and said they heard noises that those poor souls could be saved. I pray they didn't suffer. 😞

@AbbeyRhode as little consolation as that is you are right. Bad design + poor construction = instant death.

By comparison, the air pressure differential for an airplane at 35,000 feet with a cabin at 5,000 feet would be about 9 or 10 pounds per square inch. The water pressure at 12,000 feet deep would be more like 5,000 pounds per square inch.
