To all who have served

My thoughts for today are summed up in the patriotic song of our generation:

"And I'm proud to be an American
Where at least I know I'm free
And I won't forget the men who died
Who gave that right to me
And I'd gladly stand up next to you
And defend Her still today

remember the real meaning of Memorial Day

Memorial Day is a remembrance of those who have served and died in service....this is the distinction between Memorial Day and Veterans Day (which honors those of us who have served and lived to be veterans of the services).

I went to Arlington cemetery once.
