PT appointment

Our oldest boy pt appointment went pretty good. Joel did call and apologize to me and ask me to come.

Our boy does not like doctor's he's afraid of them so when we meet the new PT he grabbed Joel arm and closed his eyes. He wouldn't open them as we talked. He would answer the doctor just not with his eyes open. He even walked, jumped and did everything he asked him to do, with his eyes closed.

This appointment was to just evaluate him and see what he needs to work on. Mostly he needs help with his balance. He wants to work on his stance as He also walks on his toes a lot so they want to work on that. For OT they went to work on his fine motor skills writing holding utensils things like that.

They wanted to do two appointments away but with his fear they are going to combined it into one appointment.

We'll be going every Wednesday for now on starting next week.

@Cigarguy101 a delicate age. I see you have a host of medical.problrms is that why he needs PT, I mean does he also have some?

@samueltyler2 he was Downs syndrome and kidney issues.

@Cigarguy101 my heart goes out to you. My best friend in college's first born daughter had trisomy 21 with bad congenital heart disease.

@samueltyler2 thankfully his heart is good, just his kidneys. We almost lost him last year because of this. He was in the hospital a long time. Part of the reason he needs pt. Gotta get strong again.

@samueltyler2 as of right now he's stable and doesn't need it but his doctor thinks he will need a kidney transplant sometime in the future. So right now we're just hoping, keeping him healthy and strong and wait and see.
