Parents who don’t show up for their kids…

Why? What’s so fucking important that you can’t be there for your children! Especially for those big moments. Today is my daughter’s kindergarten luncheon at school. Two of her friends asked if they could sit with us. One said her daddy said it’s no big deal she eat with him at night and the other girl said her mommy didn’t want to come.

Why?!? How is this okay? How does a parent live with letting their babies down! It’s not like they are teenagers who don’t want to be around their parents. These are still babies who just started school a few weeks ago.

It hurts my mama hurt for their babies.

It is awful for parents to neglect their children's moments like that. It doesn't stop at kindergarten. Our daughter is a high school coach, and she often has to be the parent for her players.
It is not okay and those kids will carry that with them. Glad you were there to eat with them.

Bless them. It's going to be a llong hard trek through childhood for those little girls, I fear.

@ineedadrink one of the girls would not stop crying. I felt so bad. My daughter gave her the toy from her happy meal she made my heart so full.
