My son's friend had a run in with a predator 😞

It's horrible out there, especially for kids. ):

The fact that she felt comfortable going to her parents and the cops is a good sign. Kid's raised well.

That is one sick guy, and sadly there are plenty more like him.

But one thing we should not take for granted is that girl's reaction. The fact that she went straight to her parents demonstrates something healthy about her.

Some victims of this stuff feel shame and somehow blame themselves, and thus keep quiet. She did not.

Some kids do not trust that their parents will have a sympathetic reaction. But this girl has a solid relationship with her parents.

This says a lot of good things about that household.

And I hope they catch the creep.
