Can anyone give advice on how I can go about working from home?

I have a non verbal 3 year old and last year i had him in daycare where an incident happened. ai took my baby out and he never went back to any daycare. I struggle deeply with anxiety and depression. Can any mom and dads guide me or guve any advice on how i can stay home and look for work in ny. My son is supposed to start speech therapy and my plan is to look for work and create a routine for my son . have him start therapy and once he can talk then i feel comfortable to put him in daycare so i can go back to the outside world.. I have no help or support ....idk where to start. how to start.. i do have expience and credentials from working in a medical clinic for about a couple months but i also have certifications from about a year . i had a u union job but was terminated behind my childcare..I take care of myself right now with welfare but now theyre aasking me to pay them back so i need to hurry up and get my mental health together for my sons wellbeing.. i dont want to let him down.. thank you for anyones advice in advance.

My sister has an immunity deficiency, and she works from home making good money with good health benefits working for Ohio Health Newtork. She spends 8.5 hours a day on a computer that the company supplied for work use only.

Basically, when folks call into a call center to schedule, an appointment/doctors visit or prescription they are routed to her at her home, and she contacts the doctors' offices secretaries and schedules the appointments or relays the prescription request for the doctor to review and approve the request.

Now that would be very hard for you because she is glued to the computer and phone the entire 8 hours minus the .5 hour for lunch and your child's needs. But this is all I know about work from home.

Health care and insurance companies might be the way you need to go that have services like this.

@WillaKissing thank you for this information. I see with any remote job you still have to give it your focus 100 percent

@moonpeace81 Yes, that is what the company expects from work from home.

Good luck and you are quite welcome.

If you are going to work from home the companies will EXPECT you to work and not babysit…IF at any level they feel different you can possibly lose your job especially in the first 6 months while you are learning
They will want 100% commitment when you are working and sadly IF you mention your reasoning they will by pass you all together .. sorry and good luck
