Still learning . . but it is teaching me (1) New ways of viewing the world; (2) Infinite patience; (3) The lyrics of every single Taylor Swift song . .

Without hesitation. And unrestrained by financial/work considerations and the good advice of my wife, I would probably have turned our home into an orphanage by now.

Barely 17. Not recommended. That taught me determination, everything we do as parents affects our children deeply, and selflessness. My kids are 18 years apart and wish I would have had more in between. Still feel blessed!

Never happened yet.

Having said that I have taken care of other kids of different ages, from new borns to teenagers and that definitely has changed me.

First babysat at 21. And was a roommate's infant daughter.

Understanding kids helps you in understanding yourself at those ages. Therefore you can help them better.

Would I do it over again? Definitely!

How many? Oh boy! I don't remember how many I took care of as is. 🤣

One group there was twelve preteens! 🤣 Only did that twice. Too many at once.

Babysat four siblings several times from 4 to 10 years old.
