How old were you when you first became a parent? What 3 things did parenthood teach you? If you had to do it all over again, would you still have had

children? And how many if you could choose again? This posting is about children and parents. Happy weekend.

28, you need lots of help., time goes by fast., You don't get second chances.

Do it again? As a single parent? No way.
@Tastyfrzz Well said. Thank you. It was by role then. You hadn't a choice?

@PoetryNEmotion My wife had been sexually abused as a child. She buried it but it came out while she was pregnant. After Nick was born it was a struggle for her even with medications. Psychologists expressed a concern that she might abuse him so she left us. She returned a couple years later but had her own place and he did not stay or live with her.
@Tastyfrzz You have had a lot to bear. I am glad you raised him. How is she doing now? Blessings to you for being a good father.

@PoetryNEmotion she is still single and has a place and a job on the north shore. Helped her with some water damage to her basement this spring.
@Tastyfrzz You are good to help her. She must have endured such hell. How is your son doing now? I bet he is a fine man.
