You would probably know this if you were either a parent or a teacher.

@BritishFailedAesthetic i am sorry this happened to you, i have lost two children.... child loss happens to everyone on the political spectrum.... my point is that most people do not know about loco parentis unless they are either a parent or a teacher and this discussion should be between parents and teachers and yet most of those weighing in on this are neither.

Hopefully you and your wife will see happier times and will raise a family where you can talk to your kids about what your values are.

If people want their kids to be "free" of "LGBT propaganda" (like not being fired or evicted due to being gay), there are these things called private Christian schools and homeschooling.

In the Middle East sure, Armenians are persecuted for their faith, so are Assyrians. In the US, the only people to oppress Christians are other Christians (see the treatment of Irish Catholics by Protestants).

The US is a secular democracy, that means you can believe anything you want or nothing at all. Making your religion into law violates this right. If you want a theocracy, might I recommend moving to one?
