Homosexuality is plastered all over mainstream media.. from constantly having a spotlight on gay musicians, gay characters in television & movies, gays on reality shows slated to younger audiences, imagery of homosexuality plastered on advertisements that everybody will see regardless of their age.. Children who are just starting to learn what sexuality even is should not be exposed to that kind of stuff.

In my honest opinion I think homosexuality is almost 100% the result of influence or sexual abuse and there's really nothing you can say that can prove otherwise, you're just stating your opinion.

How do you explain the gay people who weren't abused and realized they were gay before they had a chance to be "influenced?" For example, gay people who come from homophobic religious backgrounds.

I'm not stating an opinion. A certain percentage of the population is gay, and has nothing to do with influence or abuse. Homosexuality is just one position on the spectrum of human sexuality exhibited in groups.

Regardless, you're entitled to be as ignorant as you want, as long as you don't support oppressing people for a characteristic they have no control over.

@LeopoldBloom I'm not concerned with animals, we're talking about humans. You really aren't in a position to state that a gay person who wasn't sexually abused became gay on their own volition. That's just you trying to back up your stance with the hypothetical fantasy that they chose to be gay and that they weren't indeed influenced to be gay by other gay people.

Fact is that a huge percentage of the gay community was at some point sexually abused or molested.. and when it comes to today's children that are seemingly choosing to be gay without being sexually abused is most likely the result of the notion being unnaturally planted into their heads.

Just the opposite, research shows that homosexuality is an inherent characteristic. No one becomes gay "through their own volition." That's fundamentalist religious crap that says people choose to be gay. Nobody chooses to be gay.

Human beings are a type of animal. Homosexuality is natural as it occurs among humans same as it occurs among animals.

You're just a bigot who hates gay people. The question is why? A study at the University of Georgia found that the most homophobic men were also the most aroused by watching gay porn. Your abject fear and hatred of gay people may be rooted in your own terror that you yourself may be gay, so you're overcompensating - how can you be gay when you hate gay people so much?

Normal straight men don't obsess over what other men do in the bedroom, nor do they want to suppress all evidence that gay people exist. If no one is allowed to discuss homosexuality, you won't be tempted, will you?
