Are parents ok with their young teens wearing clothing that exposes skin?

Not a parent at least not yet but never saw the point of shaming your kid and doing so also just incentivizes rebellion and they will sneak it out of the house and change anyway. I was a teenager once so had plenty of friends who did exactly that.

My Niece used to dress like that despite us insisting she didn't when she was teenager. Then she'd hang out with her friends on the corner shop and get accosted by men driving past. She was confused why they kept offering her and her friends money to go with them. I had to tell her that they dressed like the prostitutes that worked that street.

Yes as long as their happy I was always there to support them and as long as they were happy wearing it that was all that mattered.
It really matters on the situation and where they're gonna be. I see nothing wrong with that in the picture.

Her arms are up that is why her shirt is up like that. I have nobody with her shirt

Why is it that so many parents seem to forget that they were also teenagers.

No. My dad wasn’t. He made me cover up and still advises me to do so.

I would have said that exposing some skin was normal.
