@assemblingaknob Sounds like jealousy to me. You should be able to wear what you want without your mum getting upset. Maybe she wishes she could look good in a dress as you do?

@CaptainKirk Yes. I wonder if it had something to do with me looking good in it. Because she just made an issue out of it after I had put on my lipstick, blushon and shoes. Something like hurt people hurt people. My dad didn't treat her very well. She used to be a very pretty lady. I'm the same age she got married in and lost her beauty to the torments of a hellish marriage. So I wonder if me dressing up opens up old wounds.
