Mom drowns her autistic child

She told police two carjackers took her son but later admitted she drowned him in a nearby canal.

WTF is wrong with people?

I have 3 children and while none of them have any health issues regardless i could never hurt them, hell they have never even been spanked.
@StevenIzzi most of us would give our lives to save our child.

@SecondMarge Absolutely in a heartbeat. There is nothing my wife and I would not do for our children,.

@waleskinder she must have felt it was her only solution.

@waleskinder she deserves far worse. And yes, this is coming from the father of an autistic child.
And if they drown her in return it would be considered "cruel and unusual".

this breaks my heart into a million tiny pieces
I am beginning to hate these moms to be honest.

There's a particular breed that's well known to the Autistic community at this point the kind of Horrible mothers who Wrote To Siri with love.

The Martyr moms who feel so sorry for themselves that they had an Autistic child.

Oh yes, How sad, your child is likely gifted and smarter than their peers and doesn't give a shit about Socializing as much as they do and is fiercely honest which in due time SOME of the ones who dislike them will actually come to appreciate about them.

One thing I DON'T feel sorry for is the Mother of Autistic children. I MAY occasionally valorize them as Heroic but Pity? No.

For the record I AM SOCIAL, I'm just not AS social as a nuerotypical.

Well that made my day a bit shitter. Thanks
To clarify: If you were not prepared to have an Autistic Child you should not have had children at ALL. Get over yourself (to the mother.)

I guess that's one way to cure autism.
