I'm probably closer to my mom now than ever before. We went through a rough patch, lost touch twice for about ten years each, but had a sit down and talked through all that caused the rifts. People, misdiagnosis, wrong medications and misunderstandings. She's older and needs more help now and I'm glad we've got this time now.

I spend time with ger because she is my mum but i don't want to get too close to her ever again. Tbh or anyone
