Do you get along with your mother really well?

I love my mom. I would do anything in this world for her. She gave me a great and wonderful childhood. We have a very close relationship.

I do. I'm the only one she gets along with and recently, she's the only one I get along with. My parents separated. My mother lived as a housewife and had a hard time earning when they separated so my father supported the entire family. I'm the only one who visits my mom. My dad and I were really close but he became distant when he found out I'd been visiting my mom as well.

NO, because she was mean and hateful. If you've ever seen the movie "Mommy Dearest" then you met my mom!😯

Yes, we get along as well. One reason for this is our deliberate avoidance of certain topics.

She is a bit judgemental and overbearing, but I love her and accept her as she is.

Would anyone like to elaborate on their answers. I am wondering what’s like to have a great relationship with a mother.
And also what’s bad, I don’t want fall into the “bad mother” category.

I did - sadly she's gone now. But whilst we may have had arguments, disagreements etc. over the years we got on well I think. She was always glad to see us, we saw her at least once a week - often 2 or 3 times a week.

I loved her with my heart and soul.
20 years gone this Christmas and I still have all her written letters she sent me when I lived in the States.
