Do you get along with your mother really well?

@Miklee02 I’m sorry. The things I don’t like about my mother I’ve tried to take it as lessons of what not to do with my kids, but sometimes I see myself acting exactly like her.

@Love4All I did the same.... never ever would have been like her...

@Miklee02 Mine was awful too, I went to mega counseling to avoid being like her, from passing her traits on. 😔

@Peaches I could have probably used counseling as well 😕

@Miklee02 Well we have to because as children we are like little sponges, soaking everything up.😔We have to unlearn all the negative stuff and replace it with more positive things that bring us and others happiness. 🥰

@Peaches Love your insights. I just wish I had gone to therapy for all that conditioning before having kids or had recognized I could do something to change my behavior instead of focusing on being angry with my mom
She still frustrates me so much but I try to check myself to see why ( self therapy 😁)

@Peaches oh yes, I am working on myself but now my kids are 17 and 19😏
